Habiba is a collective of women in Luxor, Egypt who meet to create beautiful, intricately sewn, hand-beaded products. The beads they use are made of recycled materials bought from Cairo and the materials of the bags are made form beautiful Egyptian cotton. I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon hanging out with these ladies the last time I was in Egypt and it was so fun. We spent the afternoon chatting, drinking tea, petting the cat, and listening to Egyptian music all while they are sewing away. The products these women make are not only some of my favorite things for sale but also some of the most popular!
